Meet Phi Morton

 

Phi Morton makes ceramics with ordered structure and beauty in perfect concurrency, and is inspired by the relationship between the created and the creator.

When Phi is not making ceramics, she leads reflective workshops that soothes the soul. She has been leading creative sessions since 2017 with children and more recently with adults.

On pronouncing Phi, her nickname shares the same phonic as the 'fi' in final or fine. Lovingly adopted as a greek letter that sometimes represents the golden ratio found in patterns in nature.

Works are hand made on Gadigal Land the Place of Thunder, Maroubra, blessed by light, salt, rock cliffs and the ocean.
